Campaign Assistant Nespresso

We are looking for a Campaign Assistant to join our Nespresso Account team. Covering 14 markets across the Middle East and Africa, the team are responsible for all email campaigns and reporting, for both Nespresso Boutiques and Ecommerce websites, working alongside Nespresso HQ and regional teams.


  • Assist the Campaign Manager in the creation of retention focused marketing, promotional and transactional communications, utilising shopper-driven, segment-based email strategies
  • Execute the client marketing strategy driving repeat transactions, build loyalty, increase lifetime value and reduce churn by engaging customers with the most targeted and relevant content
  • Support continued optimisation and evolution of the client’s email marketing programs, including lifecycle trigger programs, transational messaging and large-scale campaigns
  • Support customer analysis - segment customers into meaningful and actionable cohorts, conduct A/B and multivariate tests, track and analyse performance, and communicate results
  • Use segmentation and behavioural data to personalize and optimize each customer’s online experience
  • Work closely with HQ and regional marketing teams to ensure seamless implementation of marketing initiatives (serving as liaison between Client and Creative and Development teams)
  • Provide creative direction that ensures proper messaging to customers
  • Support the process from brief through to execution.
  • Proofread emails for clarity, grammar and spelling
  • Ensure mobile-friendly email templates
  • Ensure prompt and accurate communication with clients
  • Upload and create email databases where applicable
  • Report on engagement and sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts
  • Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements
  • Support SMS and Mobile push campaigns where applicable
  • Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices


  • Previous work experience within email marketing function, preferably retail or agency
  • Hands on experience with Email and marketing automation platforms (Responsys, Emarsys, Marketing Cloud, SendGrid etc)
  • HTML knowledge a plus
  • Familiarity with analytical and database tools
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • An ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Degree in Marketing or relevant field
  • French or Arabic language a plus.
